Philadelphia- So Long My People

Well, no baseball on Monday. I called a guy who another guy told me to call. This VinnieBagADonuts voice answers and tells me "Yous Guys shuda callt earliuh. I gots none left." Nice. Very Very Nice.
So instead I went out to the bead store with Keala, and then had some Thai food. The restaurant was having a bit of an issue when we got there. Watching 5 men struggle with a stove for some reason was really entertaining. They each had a different plan of execution for moving the thing, but no one seemed to really want to achieve the comon goal together. I wanna say it took them about a half hour to get it where they needed it to go. Consequently, our meal was mediocre at best, and took an eternity. Bless em. They gave us free drinks though, so that was somethin. After the Thai food debacle, Keala and I went back to the hotel, watched movies and made jewelry. All in all it was a decent day. Relaxing and pleasant. It was Keala's last day, and you would have thought we would have just wooped it up, but it was really nice just to hang out and - be. Keala even made a pair of earbobs for herself, and I must say, they were really lovely. Nice Job Lala.
The next morning it was time to say goodbye to the last of my friends who came out to visit. Keala hit the road and I started putting my hotel room back together. I had just wheeled the cot out into the hallway when my cell phone rang.
Jill Johnson that hottie prop gal buddy of mine from The Producers tour was telling me she was on her way down to visit! So I turned right around and got that cot back before housekeeping took it away. Jill was only in for the night, so we just grabbed some dinner when she got into town. She hung out with us in the wardrobe room for a spell and then went to watch our little skit. Afterwards, it was back to Misconduct where we just hung out and laughed a lot. Suzanne was there for a spell ( she just got her lips done! They actually look really really great. Not that she needed it.) That is a picture of them at the bar. Just two gorgeous gals. 2 beers and a shot of Jack later, we got back to the hotel and just hung out, laughed our asses off, and text messaged friends we had in common. It was the easiest time. Completely chill and fun. You gotta love that girl.

Today (Wednesday) it is miserable out. Just rainy and cold. I had left my umbrella at the theater (brilliant) and Jill didn't have one either. So we ran to Rite Aid and while she was getting money I purchased 2 umbrellas. Jill thought I was being all sweet until I gave her the leopard print one.(snickers) There is my bad ass Jill walking down the street with her hilarious leopard print umbrella. Anything to make myself laugh. Totally worth the 10 bucks. After Jill hit the road, I did some show shopping and came back to the room and rested from this past week of visitors and goings on. It was an incredible week. Even though I am just spent, I can't help but think how fantastic it was to get to see so many great people while I was in Philly. I feel really appreciated as a friend. How can you not when so many people come just to hang with you? That is the sweetest bit of all. I am beyond lucky to have so many people who give a shit about me. I wrote to Jim after he left that the testament to a phenomenal friend is the solace that their mere presence brings you. It really is true. So while I may be exhausted, my spirit is brighter and warmer than it was before. Thanks for coming down everyone. Love you.
